Savagnin Ouille 36 mois

Savagnin Ouille 36 mois 2019  is a natural wine crafted by Domaine de la Pinte, in the Jura region in France, more speficially the village of Pupillin, just up on the hill above Arbois.

This white wine is made with 100% Savagnin grapes which are topped up Ouille style, rather than traditional Oxidative older style Jura wines would be. It is aged in barrel for 36 months (3 years). Bottled in November 2022 with light filtration using Silica Earth.  15% alcohol

Domaine de la Pinte state that this Savagnin Ouille 36 Mois 2019 has notes of "citrus zest, passion fruit, exotic fruits, lychee/mango, spicy, flowery, dried fruits... A mouth full of freshness, followed by a beautiful aromatic persistence with a very tangy, sharp, tense which gives energy to the wine!"
