Natural White Wine
From crisp and refreshing to rich and textured, there is a natural white wine to suit every palate! Natural whites come in a range of styles and prices, from easygoing fruity numbers like Naked Friday Weiss and Homok to serious, structured and elegant whites like a white Burgundy or a Jura Chardonnay or Savagnin. Then, of course, we have skin-contact or orange wines, which while they may not always look white, are still made from white wine grapes but on the skins, giving them more structure and depth than if they had not seen any skin-contact.
For grapes in natural whites, expect to see the ubiquitous Chadonnays and Pinot Blancs of course, but there is also often a focus on lesser-known and indigenous grapes in natural wine than there is in conventional. Take for example Partida Creus, a Spanish natural winemaker whose entry level white includes grapes Pansé, Parellada, Vinyater, and Xarel-lo.
