Pinot Gris Symbiose 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Charles Frey, in the Alsace region in France. This orange wine is made with Pinot Gris grapes.
We have not yet tried this vintage, but from what we know, this vintage of Pinot Gris Symbiose 2024 is a bright, golden-yellow wine with an expressive and inviting appearance that suggests richness and concentration.
The aromatic nose is meant to feature ripe pear, nectarine, and yellow stone fruits, layered with honey and sweet baking spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, complemented by a gentle smoky note typical of Pinot Gris.
On the palate, we hear it is supple and finely balanced, combining generous flavours of apricot, yellow plum, and pineapple with a broad, silky texture and lively acidity. Dry to off-dry in style, the subtle integrated sweetness is airy and fresh, with good concentration while remaining elegant.
The finish is meant to be long and smooth, leaving lingering notes of ripe yellow fruit, honey, beeswax, and a savoury, toasty edge.
