Les Turbulents' Chenin Blanc Pet Nat 2023 MAGNUM is a natural wine crafted by Thomas Puéchavy, in the Loire region in France. This sparkling wine is made with Chenin Blanc grapes.

Who is Thomas Puechavy?

Thomas Puéchavy is a talented French winemaker working in the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley. However, he is not allowed to class his wines as Vouvray because whilst his vineyards are located in the right place, his cellar is a few hundred metres outside the appellation zone. He doesn't mind, and favours the freedom of Vin de France anyway ;)

Producing just 8000 bottles over 3 hectares featuring Limestone rather than clay, the dominate grape he grows is of course Chenin Blanc, and he is very good at it! He makes wines both dry and off-dry (Demi Sec) as well as Pet Nats too!

NATURAL WINES BY THOMAS PUÉCHAVY

Thomas Puéchavy makes about 8,000 bottles a year from 3 hectares in Vouvray in the Loire, mostly Chenin Blanc on limestone. His cellar sits a few hundred metres outside the appellation, so the wines are labelled Vin de France, which he is happy about. Dry, off-dry and pét-nat Chenin, all very well made.
