Tra l'Altro

Tra l'Altro by Carussin is a white wine made in Piedmonte with Moscato and Cortese grapes.

Production details of Tra l'Altro: Tra l'Altro is Carussin's white wine, made from 80% Moscato di Canelli and 20% Cortese grown in San Marzano Oliveto in Asti, Piedmont. The vines follow a lunar-calendar approach without synthetic chemistry. Harvested by hand in baskets, the two grapes are softly pressed and ferment slowly in separate vessels until they stabilise naturally. A short skin contact draws out the aromatics.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Tra l'Altro by Carussin, but we hear it has notes of camomile, honey, rose petal, candied citrus and a saline edge.
