Perill Noir Carignan 2017 by Clos Lentiscus is made in Catalonia with Carignan grapes. Clos Lentiscus is run by Manuel Aviñó and his daughter Nuria Aviñó and the vines for this Peril Noir Carignan were planted in 1930. Grapes are destemmed and macerated for fifteen days in both foudres and amphorae, fermenting in these vessels with native yeasts and aged for twenty-four months. Fresh red fruit aromas with light spicy notes on the nose, an intense and deep wine with a nice structure and chewy tannins.

NATURAL WINES BY CLOS LENTISCUS

Clos Lentiscus is one of Spain’s most well-known natural wine producers. Often called "The Bubble Man" for his passion for traditional method sparkling and pét-nat wines, Manel Aviñó runs the winery in a protected area of Penedès, Catalonia, alongside his daughter Núria Aviñó.
Some of their standout bottles include Perill Noir, Cric Cric, and Blanc de Noirs Sumoll—a beautifully crisp sparkling wine with a rosé Cava-like character. These wines are lively, expressive, and full of personality, much like the people behind them.
