MG VOM SOL / MICHI'S FARM
MG vom Sol is Michael Gindl, and the winery is also known as Mich's Farm. This is one of the few natural estates in the Weinviertel north of Vienna, on a family farm owned since 1807. He decided to make the move away from conventional farming after noticing how alive his grandfather's wines tasted, which were made without chemicals. Horses, miniature sheep and Highland cattle work the vineyards, and even the barrels are made from wood from the nearby forest.
