Riverland 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Aristotelis Ke Anthoula (Australia), in the Riverland region in Australia. This 13.7% red wine is made with 40% Grenache, 40% Nero d’Avola and 20% Saperavi  grapes, which is unusual as Saperavi is a Georgian grape unusually seen so far out!

These are hardy, drought-tolerant varieties perfectly suited to the hot, dry climate of the Riverland

Riverland 2023 has been mostly destemmed with some whole bunches, co-fermented. Half pressed after a few weeks, the rest left for extended maceration. Aged in old 500L puncheons before bottling.

Aristotelis Ke Anthoula´s tasting notes: Juicy red berries, chocolatey richness, and a touch of spice. Bright, moreish, and layered.

Featuring grapes like Zibibbo, Muscat, Chenin Blanc and Aristotelis Ke Anthoula is a project led by Maddison Park-Neilson & Tony Zafirakos on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, in Australia. Whilst making a great name for themselves in the Australian natural wine scene, this is the first time their wines have made it to European shores, and we are excited and proud to be among the first to feature their vibrant natural wines!
