In regards to Natural Wine, Conca de Barbera is a scenic sub-region located in Spain, specifically in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia. The region benefits from a Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and warm, dry summers.

Whilst the region is reknown for conventional wine, there is not much natural wine to be found in Conca de Barbera, with the very special distinction of Escoda Sanahuja, run by Joan Ramon - who also co-owns the Bar Brutal establishment in Barcelona and in one of the founding fathers of the Brutal label.
