Hey! 2022

Hey! 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Amós Bañeres, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This orange wine is made with 60% Xarel-lo and 40%  Macabeu grapes, grown on limestone soils.

Profile wise, this vibrant Orange has a minty aspect alongside hints of clementine and apricot, and some butterscotch notes. There is a slight grip that makes it ideal for light dinners, this is really a gem!

Amós Bańeres states that the Xarel-lo vines are 60 years old and the Macabeu are 30 years old, both grown on 1ha plots.

Macabeu direct press and fermented with indigenous yeast. Aged in fiber. Xarel·lo, destemmed and fermented with skins 10 days, no control of temperature. After soft pressing ageing for 11 months in 300 liters French oak used barrel with total lees.

No batonnage. No racking. Bottled without stabilization, clarification, filtration nor sulphiting
