Azal
Azal is a white wine grape that is primarily grown in the Vinho Verde region of Portugal. This region is known for its cool and wet climate, which is ideal for the cultivation of this grape variety. Azal is also grown in other regions of Portugal, such as Douro and Minho, as well as in the Galicia region of Spain.
Azal grapes produce wines that are crisp, refreshing, and aromatic. The wines have a pale yellow color and exhibit citrusy and floral aromas, with hints of green apple and lime. On the palate, Azal wines are lively and zesty, with a good acidity that makes them perfect for pairing with seafood and light dishes.
