Piedmont | Natural Wine from Piedmont
In regards to Natural Wine, Piedmont has a good share of natural wine producers such as Valli Unite, Lino Maga, Roagna, Carussin and Podere Cellario. Piedmont is located in northwest Italy, is a region renowned for its classic wines and breathtaking scenery. One cannot talk about Piedmonte without mentiomning Barolo, which embodies the essence of the local Nebbiolo grape. Known for its powerful and complex flavors, Barolo wines are highly sought after by connoisseurs worldwide.
Another prominent producer is Barbaresco, which offers elegant and age-worthy wines made from Nebbiolo as well. Whilst most wine producers are not natural in such esteemed wines, there are exceptions such as Azienda Agricola Philine Isabelle, Ferdinando Principiano and Morra Gabriele. In addition to Nebbiolo, Piedmont is also known for its production of Gavi wines, made from the Cortese grape. These refreshing white wines are crisp and vibrant, offering a delightful contrast to the region's renowned reds.
