Tsikhelishvili Wines is run by Aleksi Tsikhelishvili , a small-scale yet highly respected natural wine producer from the Kakheti eastern region in Georgia. Making wine since the Soviet times, but keeping his artisinal wines a secret as mass production was the norm, Aleksi Tsikhelishvili now has more freedom to express himself. He farms Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane on 2.5 hectares, as well as the pretty much forgotten Jgia grape. There are only 4000 bottles made a year...
