Maskerade Rose NV is a natural wine crafted by Gut Oggau, in the Burgenland region in Austria. This lovely rose wine is made with a mix of Rösler, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch grapes, amongst a few others.

The Maskerade range was originally made to showcase vineyard at the start of their holistic conversion, but nowadays are fully converted but can sometimes feature trickier fermentations and sometimes a tiny amount of residual sugar, which with their no sulphur approach can occasionally start to referment, which is why the bottles are sealed with caps and not corks, which would push out.

This current NV Maskerade does not feature any noticeable residual sugar in a way it would be deemed as sweet and is very tasty indeed.

Founded by Eduard & Stephanie Tscheppe in 2007, this cult natural wine estate Gut Oggau with iconic label designs of different faces, has since become a worldwide phenomenon.
