Poulsard | Ploussard
What's the difference between Poulsard and Ploussard?
Poulsard, a regional grape found in the Jura region, is the same grape as Ploussard.
The only difference is where you hear it being said! Ploussard is generally said around Pupillin, home to famous winegrowers like Tony Bornard, Pierre Overnoy and Domaine de la Borde. Poulsard is more commonly known in the very close village or Arbois and further south in the Jura, and is generally a more popular name of the varietal.
