Perricone
Perricone is a rare red wine grape native to western Sicily. In the past, it was often blended with Nero D'Avola or used to colour sweet Marsala wine, however now some winemakers are pioneering using Perricone for single variety wines, including Porta Del Vento who make both entry-level and aged red Perricone wines as well as a Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine called Lyr.
