Attia Rosso is a natural wine crafted by Etnella, in the Sicily region in Italy. This volcanic red wine is made with 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, but whats interesting it is is 15.5% alcohol... yet does not feature tannins.

We found our first sips to give quite a burn in the back of the throat, like the alcohol was not really integrated WITH the wine.

Trying it again the second day felt better, but this is an unusual wine, and one for those who prefer alcoholic wines.
