Azimut

Azimut is the Suriol family's Penedès project, created to connect local grape growers more directly with the people drinking the finished wines. The region runs from the Mediterranean coast towards the Catalan mountains, and the project keeps regional varieties at its centre while giving neighbouring families an outlet for their fruit.

Everything is vinified at the Suriol family cellar in the Alt Penedès. The intention is straightforward: wines with freshness, movement and immediate drinkability rather than weight or unnecessary complexity. Azimut is built around everyday wine, with a relaxed Mediterranean character that suits the table or a casual bottle shared among friends.

The range uses a broad group of Catalan grapes. Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada, Garnatxa and Ull de Llebre appear alongside less familiar varieties including Sumoll Blanc and Malvasia de Sitges. Across these grapes, Azimut produces whites, skin-contact wines and reds, together with traditional-method Cava.
