Martha Stoumen has a love affair with Sicily, and so likes to use the grapes in the USA. This is her Nero d'Avola wine, which is rich and smooth

Production details of Nero d'Avola (Martha Stoumen): Martha Stoumen is a California natural winemaker with a love affair with Sicily. This Nero d'Avola is her tribute to Sicilian grapes grown in the USA. Martha makes natural wine in Mendocino County, California using a lunar-calendar approach.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Nero d'Avola by Martha Stoumen, but we hear it has notes of dark cherry, ripe plum, dried herbs and a soft Mediterranean fruit lift.
