Dominique Belluard was a chemical-free & holistic natural wine producer in the Savoie region of France who stood out for his expression of Gringet (a traditional variety in the region) as well as his use of concrete eggs for fermentation, which he believed that the shape promotes a natural movement of the wine inside, adding texture and overall stability to the wine.
Dominique Belluard tragically took his own life in 2021, and the domain is now called Domaine Gringet, and is run by Vincent Ruiz and some friends. Notable Bellaurd bottles included 'Les Alpes*, 'Pur Jus' and the exceptional sparlking wine, 'Les Perles du Mont Blanc'.
