Production details of Cabernet Sauvignon (Damien Menut): Damien Menut works 4 hectares of vines in Thésée, Loire, on deep clay-rich soils. He trained under Bruno Allion, a godfather of the Loire natural wine movement, and follows lunar-calendar principles. The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand de-stemmed and aged in old barrique in a cool cellar carved deep into the tuffeau. No additives.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon by Damien Menut, but we hear it has notes of blackcurrant, roasted bell pepper, sweet spice, silky tannins and a touch of liquorice.
