Rairon 2008 by Il Santo is a natural wine made in Lombardia with Barbera and Uva Rara grapes. Quite hard to find any information about this winery, other than it is run by Eugenio Barbieri, who originally came from an academic background but transitioned to viticulture, focusing on natural wines.

We hear this rustic yet energetic red wine benefits from a decant and enchants you into its world with every sip.

Production Details: Rairon is a Lambrusco from Emilia-Romagna, made using the charmat method with a secondary fermentation in tank. The wine preserves the aromatic qualities of the Lambrusco grape whilst capturing natural carbonation.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried the 2008 vintage of Rairon by Il Santo, but we hear it has notes of red berries, flowers, light spice, and refreshing carbonation.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
