Nascetta
Nascetta is a white wine grape that is primarily grown in the Piedmont region of Italy. This grape is also known as Anas-Cetta or Nas-cëtta and has been cultivated in the Langhe area for centuries.
Nascetta produces wines that are characterized by their vibrant acidity and aromatic profile. The flavors of Nascetta wines are often described as citrusy, with notes of lemon, grapefruit, and green apple. There is also a distinct floral quality to these wines, with hints of white flowers and herbs.
The Piedmont region, specifically the towns of Novello and Monchiero, are the most important areas for Nascetta production.
