Nero di Troia
Nero di Troia is a red wine grape that is primarily grown in the Puglia region of Italy. This grape is also known as Uva di Troia.
Nero di Troia wines are characterized by their deep ruby color and intense aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums. On the palate, these wines are full-bodied with a velvety texture and well-balanced tannins. They often exhibit notes of spices, such as black pepper and cloves, as well as hints of tobacco and leather.
While Nero di Troia is primarily produced in Puglia, it is also grown in other regions of Italy, such as Basilicata and Campania. Valentina Passelacqua is a natural wine producer known for using Nero di Trioia.
