Heritage by Gabrio Bini is a rare wine made on the Island of Pantelleria, off the coast of Sicily, actually very close to Africa.

It's a very hot island mostly known for Capers and Passito sweet wines, but Gabrio Bini with his Azienda Agricola Serragghia plot is at a high altitude, and features a cooling sea breeze ideal for his vines which have never been treated and are farmed by horse. All his wines are aged in Terracotta Amphora, buried outside in the vineyards

This Heritage wine is made with Zibibbo grapes, taken from super old, 100+ year ungrafted vines from high up on the hill - this is a rare wine from the cult producer with only 600 bottles made !

Previous vintage featured lovely, bright aromatic notes of the grape we love, alongside touches of apricot and slight petrol notes. Will also age a dream!

*We are offering the 2022 Vintage, not the 2018 vintage the photo shows*

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY GABRIO BINI

Gabrio Bini is a true legend in the natural wine world, crafting his one-of-a-kind wines on the hot, volcanic island of Pantelleria, off the coast of Sicily.
These amphora wines are a bit of an investment, but honestly, once you taste them, you’ll understand why—they’ve blown away everyone we’ve shared them with. The wines have an unmatched energy and flavor profile, full of fruit, acidity, earthiness, and aromatic complexity. The old, ungrafted vines from Serraghia make for some really unique expressions. Gabrio’s wines are fruity, earthy, concentrated, and a little wild around the edges. His popular bottles include the Serraghia Bianco, Rosato, Heritage, and the Giotto Reserva, named after his son.
