We've always been BIG FANS of Martin Wörner's 'Weiss', wine since it's first vintage in 2016 (which we're lucky to still have a bottle of in our personal fridge!)

This new 2021 vintage is a bit more citrussy and mineral driven than the previous 2020, yet still with that unmistakable tropical twang that this beautiful wine always has no matter the vintage! We love it!

Martin Wörner, or Marto Wines, is one of the hottest names in Germany's natural wine scene. After learning the ropes with top producers like Matassa and Gut Oggau, Martin (or Marto, as most call him) brought his fresh approach back to his family winery in Rheinhessen and breathed new life into it.
Marto Wines is often regarded as one of the most influential producers in the German natural wine movement and has inspired a whole new wave of winemakers in the country. He’s also teamed up with Alanna Lagamba (known for her Frauenpower wines), who plays a role in the business. Popular bottles from Marto Wines include Weiss, Al Dente, Manna, Crazy Crazy, and Riesling, as well as our own collaboration bottles!
