VY 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Partida Creus, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This white wine is made with Vinyater grapes, which is a forgotten grape varietal similar to others which Partida Creus are known to breathe new life into.

The grapes are taken from a 60 year old vineyard on clay and limestone, in the region of Penedes where Partida Creus are based. Owners Massimo and Antonella macerate the wine as whole bunches, ferment and age in stainless steel . The wine is bottled without seeing additions of SO2, as with all Partida Creus wines.

Partida Creus is a big name in the natural wine world. Founded in 2001 by the super-charismatic Italian duo Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerona, this winery is based in Bonastre, in Spain’s Penedès region. Their mission? Bringing old, indigenous grape varieties back to life.
They work with grapes like Xarel-lo, Boball, Trepat, and Moscatel, producing over 100,000 bottles a year—making them one of the biggest natural wine producers in the area. They don’t use any added sulfur at any stage and even craft an incredible Vermouth called MUZ.
