Le Sage Vagnin 2022 is a rare natural wine crafted by Philippe Chatillon, in the Jura region in France. This white wine is made with Savagnin grapes, hence the name Le Sage Vignin.

Le Sage Vagnin is hand harvested from 65 year old vines, and the grapes are pressed as whole bunches. Aged for 18 months in French oak.  No added Sulphites. Low Production, perhaps 800 bottles we hear.

How does Le Sage Vagnin by Philippe Chatillon taste?

Tasting wise, this wine is complex, unique and amazing! One member of our team described it as smelling a Mandarin tree orchard.. the other smelt smokey and peaty (often found in whisky) elements to add, real vanilla, quince, clementine. Every sip is amazing and changes so much! What a triuph.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
