Riesling Dreiklang Spätlese Feinherb 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Rudolf Trossen, in the Mosel region in Germany. This white wine is made with Riesling grapes, but unlike the majority of Trosson wines, this wine is half-dry in its sweetness and uses sulphites to achieve this.

So, this is a sweeter Riesling with a more classic, traditional style

Production details of Riesling Dreiklang Spätlese Feinherb: Riesling Dreiklang Spätlese Feinherb is made by Rita and Rudolf Trossen, pioneers of natural viticulture in the Mosel, who switched to a lunar-calendar approach in 1978. The wine comes from the three best vineyard sites of their estate. Hand-picked, gently pressed, slow wild ferment and long lees ageing. This is part of their "normal" line which uses a minimal sulphur addition at bottling (distinct from their no-additive Purus line).

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Riesling Dreiklang Spätlese Feinherb by Rudolf Trossen, but we hear it has notes of ripe yellow pear, yellow stone fruit, slate, light herbs and a creamy fine mineral finish.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
