Weissburgunder Kalkstein 2025 is a natural wine crafted by Seckinger, in the Pfalz region in Germany. This white wine is made with Pinot Blanc grapes, aka Weissburgunder in Germany.

The 2020 release marks the debut vintage of this Weissburgunder from limestone soils of Seckinger. The fruit comes from vineyards around Maikammer and Altdorf in the Südpfalz, where limestone and loess shape the character of the wine.

We have not tried this wines yet but hear the nose shows subtle smoky notes alongside a gently reductive edge and hints of brioche. On the palate, the influence of barrel ageing appears as a light reduction and added structure. A high level of extract gives the wine a rounded texture and depth, while still keeping a smooth, easy-drinking flow.

We expect razor-sharp acidity with notes of pear, nutty hints and unripe apricot.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
