This is a unique experiment blending Blaufränkisch grapes with hops, sitting somewhere between dark beer and quirky natural wine. Weninger works vines in both Burgenland and Hungary.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Franz Plays With Barley & Grapes by Weninger, but we hear it has notes of dark berry, malty depth, dry herbal hop and a quirky cross-over character.
