Vin Yóne 2011 is a natural wine crafted by Jules & Didier Grappe, in the Jura region in France. This oxidative white wine is made with Savagnin grapes, and is in the form of a Vin Jaune, but due to appellation rules and also the full size bottles, is not allowed to be called this.

Aged for 75 months in 228-litre barrels (6.3 years) this wine is less complex than other Vin Jaunes (and perhaps the first ever with a screwtop!) but a great oxidative wine that works great with cheeseboards, chicken dishes and desserts. Will hold well once opened, being so used to oxygen. No added sulphites as with all Jules and Didier Grappe wines.

Didier Grappe video documentary

One of our earlier documentaries we made in Jura was with Didier Grappe, where he expressed his love for Hybrid grapes and way he works in Saint Lothain, close to Poligny.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
