François Blanchard farms 4 hectares in the Loire, with 3 of them in La Grand-Cléré, where fifty year old vines thrive on clay & Silex. These wines are rare, cult and sell out fast. We recently enjoyed La Presse 2020, a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon which has got some wood influence. Peppery touches linger alongside a mild hint of rosemary hiding behind black forest fruit and vanilla.
