Cabernet Sauvignon by Der Glücksjager is a natural wine made in Pfalz with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Production details of Cabernet Sauvignon (Der Glücksjäger): This Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Andreas and Cathrin Pfaffmann-Wiedemann at Der Glücksjäger in the Pfalz region of Germany. The wine ages in half-piece (Halbstück) and barrique barrels for a more complex finish. 30 hectares farmed using a lunar-calendar approach, with sulphur kept at 30-40 mg/l.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon by Der Glücksjäger, but we hear it has notes of cassis, green pepper, dried herbs, leather and a spicy peppery lift.
