Kalkstein Weissburgunder 2022 is a natural wine crafted by Hannes Bergdoll, in the Pfalz region in Germany. This slightly oxidative white wine is made with Pinot Blanc grapes, known in Germany as Weissburgunder.

Grown on limestone soils, this wine is zesty and fresh, but also nicely creamy too with a balanced acidity making you want another sip.

Winemaking of Berdoll Kalkstein Weissburgunder 2022

Direct press grapes, fermentation in 500 L wooden barrels, don’t fill up the barrels after fermentation, oxidative aging process in the barrels under flor yeast
unfiltered bottling November 2023, 10 mg added So2 before bottling
