Hurry… almost sold out!

Pet Nat Weiss 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Nature's Calling, in Berlin, with grapes grown by Hannes Bergdoll in the Pfalz region in Germany. This sparkling Pet Nat wine is made with Muscat, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Refreshing. Crisp. A bit yeasty and aromatic. Good fun and playful!

How is Pet Nat Weiss made?

The grapes are Muscat, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc from Hannes Bergdoll's vines at Wollmesheim near Landau in the Pfalz. They are picked by hand, fermented spontaneously and finish their fermentation in the bottle, with no added sulphur.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.

NATURAL WINES BY NATURE'S CALLING

Nature's Calling started in 2021 as a lockdown project by Louisa Müller, Nicolas Wenz and Sven Grolik, three friends who grew up in German wine country. At first they bought wines from growers they trust, including Hannes Bergdoll in the Pfalz. Then they opened their own urban winery IN Berlin of all places, in a 19th-century former spirits factory in Reinickendorf, and went from buying wines from winemakers to actually vinifying them themselves!

Bergdoll, now their cellar master, sends hand-picked Pfalz grapes to Berlin to be pressed, fermented in used oak barrels and bottled without additives. Expect pet nats, an orange and a Riesling. They also make alcohol-free sparkling ferments on a water kefir base, with quince, verjus and wild herbs, which are some of the most interesting 0% bottles we know. The name? Ring the number on the label to hear the winemaker, or bees in the vineyard.
