Schiller Frizzante by Franz Strohmeier in the Styria region of Austria is a softly sparkling wine made from the grape Blauer Wildbacher

Popping with lots of vibrant red berries, some vanilla, some herbs as well as earthy and spicy notes mingling with blueberry and cherry blossom.

And that beautiful colour... JUST WOW!

The mouthfeel, with its slightly lactic note, is typical of Strohmeier, and the perlage is enchantingly fine. Awesome stuff for sure!

NATURAL WINES BY STROHMEIER

Christine and Franz Strohmeier make elegant wines in Styria and are part of Schmecke das Leben, the group of five Styrian natural winemakers. They focus on biodiversity in the vineyard and time in the cellar, and the range runs from the numbered Tlz wines to playful frizzantes and a Brut Nature rosé.

They also make a wonderful Riesling and their wines are incredible for aging.
