Production details of Sauvignon Blanc + Roter Veltliner: This is an orange wine from Eschenhof Holzer in the Wagram region of Austria, run by Arnold Holzer in the fifth generation of the family. The blend uses the rare Roter Veltliner (a white grape despite the name) alongside Sauvignon Blanc. The wine sits at 11.5% alcohol.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Sauvignon Blanc + Roter Veltliner by Eschenhof Holzer, but we hear it has notes of thyme, rosemary, marjoram, cinnamon stick and an earthy wild edge.
