Amphora White is a natural wine crafted by Andi Weigand, in the Franken region in Germany. This white wine is made with Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau grapes, which is aged in Qvevri Amphora, as the name suggests.

Production details of Amphora White: Amphora White is made by Andi Weigand at Weingut Weigand in Franken, Germany. Andi took over from his dad in 2015 and went natural in 2018. This white blends Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau, destemmed and aged for around 9 months on the skins in qvevri amphora. The technique is unusual for young German winemakers.

Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Amphora White by Andi Weigand, but we hear it has notes of rose, apricot, cantaloupe, Meyer lemon and citrus peel.

We ship every Wednesday. Order by Tuesday 10am.
