Fixture Picture 2025

Vinyes Tortuga 'Fixture Picture 2025' is a white wine from Alt-Empordà in northern Catalonia, made from Carinyena (a red wine grape), which is unusual enough to give the wine its own personality straight away.

The vineyards sit close to the Pyrenees and Mediterranean, with salty sea air, dry Tramontana winds, and licorella soils giving the wine a more savoury, mineral frame rather than a simple fruity profile.

In the glass, this is dry, fresh and quietly textural, with notes of quince, fig, almond and a fine salty edge. It feels Mediterranean without being heavy: ripe in flavour, but lifted and clean through the finish. A good one for drinkers who want a white with a bit more grip and character, without tipping into orange wine territory.
