Brisat 2023 is a easy going, fresh and vibrant natural wine crafted by Azimut, in the Catalonia region in Spain. This orange wine is made with a Catalan blend of Parellada, Sumoll Blanc, Grenache Blanc and Moscatell grapes.

We find this wine to be EXCELLENT VALUE for a light and non-fussy orange wine. The Moscatell (Zibibbo) give it an aromatic edge. The other grapes bring a nice amount of flavour along too, for example bursts of peach, apricot, vanilla, tangerine and a soft herbal edge.

 There is the softest tannic grip, which gives it a little complexity whilst still being a chuggable easy drinker. For the price point, this is one of the best value orange wines on the site!

Azimut works with familiar Catalan grapes including Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada, Garnatxa and Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo), alongside lesser-known varieties such as Sumoll Blanc and Malvasia de Sitges. The collection includes white, skin-contact and red wines, as well as traditional-method Cava. Their Brisat is particular good value!
