Clos Lentiscus is one of Spain's most known natural wine estates. Also known as 'The Bubble Man' thanks to his love of traditional method sparkling and pet nat wines, owner Manel Aviñó runs the winery set in a protected area in Penedes, Catalonia with his daughter Núria Aviñó, who is now just as much a part of the winery.
They also work very closely with nature, and host a lot of bees, which they use the honey from to help the secondary fermentation in their wonderful sparkling wines, which tend to have long lees aging.
Popular bottles include their Perill Noir, Cric Cric and Blanc de Noirs Sumoll, which is a delightful sparkling wine similar to a Cava... but way better!
