Grandbois Wines
Tanja and Philippe Grandbois run this small winery in the Mosel region of Germany, farming 2 hectares of Riesling, Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. The duo moved to Maring-Noviand to raise a family and work with the land.
Previously, Tanja was a pastry chef before working in German wineries whilst Philippe left his corporate job opening bars for Mariott International to work at wineries in Australia, Burgundy, New Zealand and Canada, where the two met.
Grandbois Wines are fun, playful and ready to be popped open in the park with friends on warm afternoons! With their use of new oak, which is not used so often in natural wine, the still wines like Pinecone Pinot Blanc can be quite charming and different to what you may expect.
