Production Process of Krásná Hora 2022 Blanc de Noir Natural Wine

The 2022 Blanc de Noir natural wine from producer Krásná Hora is made from 100% Pinot Noir, using stainless steel tanks for primary fermentation and maturation on lees for approximately eight months before undergoing traditional-method second fermentation and ageing in bottle. The wine is produced by direct pressing of whole-bunch Pinot Noir, with only brief skin contact during pressing. It rests in the bottle on it's own lees for 13 months before disgorgment.

Tasting Notes for Krásná Hora Blanc de Noir 2022

This tasty sparkling wine has notes of a fresh, full-bodied brut nature sparkling Pinot Noir with delicate apple-skin and yeasty, biscuity aromas plut a stoney minerality . The palate offers a nicely creamy, fine mousse-like texture balanced by bright, crisp acidity, leading to a bone-dry, very classy finish. Whilst not as wow as their 2019 Blanc de Blanc (which spends 4 years on the lees in the bottle), this is elegant and enjoyable to all, and EXCELLENT value too
