Strekov 1075 make their wine called Bob in a fresh, carbonic style fashion. Technically this was a Nouveau wine, bottled shortly after fermentation to keep things fresh and juicy.

The name Bob is actually titled after the domains Donkey (full name, Robert Parker! hehe) and we love that the donkey was named after the popular-but-not-so-popular wine critic.

Made in the village of Strekov with the fruit-forward grape Blauer Portugieser, this gluggable red wine features earthy touches which are typical of winemaker Zsolt zuto and his terroir.

We find this makes it nicely interesting and generally not all about fruit, like most Beaujolais style nouveau wines might be. Here... its got some Slokavian power behind it!!
