Jean.Claude Lapalu | Beaujolais wine
Jean-Claude Lapalu is an esteemed natural wine producer from the Cru of Brouilly of Beaujolais in France. Farming vines aged between 50-100 years old he inherited from his grandfather and father, Jean-Claude Lapalu is somewhat inbetween the generations of Beaujolais natural wine producers, having been a little late to be amongst the pioneers like Metras, Lapierre and Foillard but more experienced and older than the younger generation now making waves in the region.
Jean-Claude Lapalu uses little to no sulphur, ages some wines in Amphora and is patient with his vinification process, but also makes a smashing Beaujolais Nouveau each year...
