LES VIGNES DE BABASS | Sebastién Dervieux

LES VIGNES DE BABASS is run by Sebastién Dervieux, a natural wine producer from the Loire region in France.

One of the early pioneers of making natural wine in the region and a former work partner with Patrick Desplats (Domaine des Griottes), Sebastien is good friends with Jean-Pierre Robinot and does not use sulphur in his wines. As a former rock musician, many of the Babass wines have musical titles like Groll n Roll and Roc Cab. With his clay, limestone and sandstone soils, he farms local Loire varietals like Chenin Blanc, Grolleau, Cabernet Franc as well as some Gamay.
