Listán Negro
Listán Negro is a red wine grape that is primarily grown in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is also known as Negramoll in some regions. This grape is particularly important in the production of wines in the regions of Tenerife, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.
Listán Negro produces wines that are medium-bodied with a vibrant acidity and a distinct mineral quality. The wines made from this grape often have aromas of red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, as well as floral notes and hints of spices.
The Canary Islands' volcanic soil and unique climate contribute to the development of Listán Negro's flavors. The warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly, resulting in wines with a good balance of fruitiness and acidity.
La Araucaria is a natural wine producer making good use of the grape Listán Negro.
