Reichensteiner
Reichensteiner is a white wine grape that is mainly grown in Germany, England, and New Zealand. It is a cross between Müller-Thurgau and Madeleine Angevine x Calabreser Froehlich, and was first bred in Germany during 1939.
This grape is known for its versatility and ability to thrive in cooler climates. It produces wines that are crisp, refreshing, and well-balanced. Reichensteiner wines often exhibit flavors of green apple, citrus, and tropical fruits, with a hint of floral notes. The acidity in these wines is typically moderate.
