Samodia

Bianco 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Jacopo Stigliano and his friend, in the partnership they call Samodia

Based in Valsamoggia in the Emilia-Romagna region in North Italy, tgrapes used include Pignoletto, Albana, Trebbiano Modenese, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Montuni  and Moscato to name just the whites! The reds include  Barbera, Sangiovese,  Negrettino, Lambrusco Grasparossa and Lambrusco Maestri.

Vinification takes place in small Qvevri Amphora and cement tanks, and the wines sees no added sulphites.

We adore the white, which is actually orange. Expect notes of crushed fennel, apricot, pastry, citrus peel elements, mint, hints of black tea and a soft tannic structure. Really delicious!
